About this highway
The eastern end of the Lower Mainland: Highway 1 from Chilliwack to Hope, where the road splits three ways for the Coquihalla, the Crowsnest and the Fraser Canyon. Everyone calls this stretch Hope; the signs say Trans-Canada.
